what do you season your turkey with?

this is my first year to ever make a turkey and i have no idea what to season it with. so any tips or recepies are much appriciated. thankss

    OLD BAY.. I love that stuff it is so yummy. Use it on a bunch of things but remember it from Turkey day the most.

    I inject mine with Cajun Injector and sprinkle a bit of the seasoning on it. Delicious

    my sister and I were just talking about this. I think I'm going to brine it for 24 hours in salt water, then lift the skin on the breast and lay green chilies over it and replace skin, then will stuff cavity with oranges and onions. I am going to grill it but you could bake at directed time/temp. It generally produces a very moist bird. Brine birds do take longer to cook generally.

    I'm doing a cider brined turkey this year using a recipe I found on marthastewart.com.

    I stuff it with onions, fresh poultry herbs & lemons. I put a butter herb rub under the skin and then rub the skin with that as well. If I have enough fresh herbs I'll put that under the skin too!
