30 DS - not 30 days in a row?

I'm on day 3 of my 30DS and I've been reading quite a lot about it. As I understood it, it is supposed to be done every day for 30 days but I've seen a lot of people who says you shouldn't do it every day. I've only done two workouts so far (haven't done today's yet) but I'm not really that sore so it doesn't feel like it would be a problem for me to do it every day. But I don't know, what do you guys say?

Its up to yourself if you do it 30 days straight, but sometimes your body needs a day off to recover. Just see how you feel, if you want a day off take a day off, just remember to do 30 days of it!
Best wishes with it, you will notice the difference in your body very soon.0 -
It's kind of dependant on your fitness level. If it's not killing you, then do it for as long as you can (up to the 30 straight). If you feel like you can't walk down a flight of stairs without wishing you could shoot yourself, then you should probably take a day off.
That being said, I've seen a ton of people do it every day, but I've seen even more people take a day or two off.
If you're used to harder workouts, it probably won't hurt you to do it every day.
Good luck! Make sure to post before & afters.0 -
Alright thanks! I'll do it every day for as long as it feels doable I sure will post before and after pics!0

I am just about to start level 2. Days 3 and 4 I was in agony, especially my arms. Day 5 pain had gone and workout got so much easier. Good luck with it!0

I do it as a 21 day shred (i do it in a 30 day month but don't doit on the weekends) I do each level for 7 days or i have also done it for 30 days but not on the weekends so two work weeks on each level0

Somewhere on the dvd, like on the main menu I think?, it says to do it 4-5 days a week, and Jillian said the same thing on her radio show. One of the MFP members wrote to customer service, and the rep told her it's supposed to be done every day! I'd do what Jillian says, but even if you do it more, you should at least give yourself one day of rest so your muscles can recover.0

i hear its good to take a day recover now and again, as the the recovery time is when the weight comes off?!
Sure someone told that in a previous shred.
Good Luck, im loving my results so far, i havent stuck to a strict diet and had treats at weekends or special occasions! Im going to do the shred again when ive finished in the run up to christmas!

I am doing this everyday, slightly goes against what I'd usually do as I do believe in 'rest days', but more for my own personal interest I wanted to see the results after 30 solid days on it. I'm on Day 8 - I'm also blogging about it to help me stay motivated, follow along if you want http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/clur85?month=2011110

You've inspired me to start again!0

I'm glad I can inspire anyone! I myself get really inspired by other people doing it and seeing results so early on. This should be good0

I'm on Day 7, not 8!0 -
I started the shred on Nov 15. I do the shred twice a day (am and pm) but every other day with cardio inbetween and rest on sunday. So I'm working out 6 days a week. so far so good!0
