This Thanksgiving

I've seen a ton of posts wondering what to eat on Thanksgiving, how to bring in more healthy recipes and people stressing over the day. I completely understand the anxiety with the holiday, however i have decided i'm not going to stress about it this year. Instead, i'm going to enjoy the day. Thanksgiving this year for me is going to be exactly what i want it to be. Spending time with family and friends and certainly watching some football and having a few laughs. Am I going to drink -- yes, am i going to eat what i want -- Yes (ok i'll control the portion sizes) am i going to log it in-- maybe not :-), but I don't want to lose site that this holiday is suppose to be a time of thanks and be surrounded with family and friends. I'm going to enjoy it this year, and I hope everyone else enjoys it as well. Happy Thanksgiving
That all being said, my gym does have a spin class on Thanksgiving morning -- see you there :-)

This sounds like a great attitude! We don't have 'thanksgiving' here but I plan to treat Christmas in exactly the way you describe. A walk on the morning and no obsessing about food - just enjoyment of a feast and the company of family. :drinker:0
