Cranberry Swirl Salad
(12 servings)
This is my grandma's recipe:
2 packages (3 ounces each) sugar free cherry, red raspberry, or cranberry Jello (or a combination)
1-1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 can (16 ounces) sugar free whole cranberry sauce, broken apart with fork
1 cup plain Greek yogurt or fat free sour cream
Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Stir in nuts and cranberry sauce. Chill until partially set. Spoon into 8-inch square dish. Spoon sour cream on top and stir to swirl. Chill until firm. Cut into squares.
I have used softened fat free creamed cream cheese when I did not have yogurt or sour cream before. It was just as good.

I will never come to terms with the American gelatin salad ... is this really something you would serve along side the main course, or is it a dessert?0
