It seems like no matter what, or how much I eat I am always left feeling hungry! I try to eat big (heatlhy) meals to fill me up before work, but 2 hours later my stomach is asking for food again. Am I doing something wrong?

It's hard to tell for sure since your diary isn't public but if you're like me, I'd guess you might be eating more carbs than proteins. If I try to eat some cereal and milk, most days that'll only last me a couple of hours. I'm full at first, especially from something like shredded wheat, but since it's all carbs, my body uses it up very quickly. I realized that it's much better for me to eat something like eggs or oatmeal enriched with protein (like Kashi's) so that the food "burns" slower and stays with me longer. There are still days where I'm hungry all the time but it's usually during that time of the month (TOM).
Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water - sometimes the body confuses thirst with hunger.
And are you sure you're really hungry or are you just bored, stressed, etc?
ETA: Search for "hungry" here in the message boards. It's a pretty common problem for folks trying to figure out a better way of eating. You might get more ideas that way.0 -

I went through a period of time like this and I really don't know what I was doing wrong, if I was doing anything wrong. I was eating more protein and I still was always hungry. I kept healthy snacks in my desk so that I would not be tempted to buy anything junky.
I eat smaller meals now and I eat something about every 2 to 3 hours, nothing big, but just a little something - like a banana, graham crackers, a little popcorn, other fruit. I feel that has helped me and I have heard a lot of people on here saying that if you are hungry than you are probably not eating enough. If you make your diary public, you may get more helpful responses from people being able to see what you are eating.0 -
