You should Sooooo try it! don't feel you have to make the exact juices either- ssome taste pretty bad. I juiced for 30 days and did great with weight loss, etc. Good luck! Any questions feel free to contact me- or look up www.jointhereboot.com they have a lot of info too:) I am excited for you!0

Can I add stevia if it tastes bad?0 -
sure! I always took granny smith apples and would add an extra if I had a hard time downing the juice- veggies were my most difficult. Grannysmith apples or carrots are sweet and strong in flavor. Keep your veggies at about 2/3 of the consumption and 1/3 fruits. That way your sugar levels won't spike as much...just a thought...and yes, drink LOTS of water...0

but it's ok if you don't feel like it.
So did you still count calories while doing it? How often do you drink it and how much? Thanks much!0 -

I tried this over the holiday weekend. The Beet juice almost "killed" me. I didn't know that beets can bring such side effects...0

sorry I haven't posted in a while- forgot to check the message board-- no i didn't count calories while juicing - just made sure I kept it to the 2/3 1/3 ratio of fruits to veggies. There is really no good way to count calories while doing this because you aren't using a typical diet. I also read which makes sense- it is more important what you are getting out of your body rather than putting in---not that you should put junk in the body, but you are already aware of what is going in and it is all good. You are getting rid of the crap and toxins you need to and giving your digestive system a huge break. I did the fast for 30 days. Sounds extreme but I also went slow...I started with eating oatmeal for breakfast and juicing the remainder of the day.. by day 3 all I did was juice. I also knew after starting that you can't eat if you are full fasting or you'll get sick so that kept my temptations away. but if you don't choose to fully fast, go for it and eat and juice- I lost 20 pounds by the end of the 30 days. I have kept it off and that was this summer. I am now at 31 pounds total today. I felt like it was a great jumpstart to eating and living a healthy lifestyle. I also managed to keep working out during the fast but only on days my body felt up to it. That is huge- listen to your body. If you are tired- don''t overdo it that day. If not, do what you feel like. I went in rollercoasters- 1 day tired, the next 2 great, and so on.....Feel free to send me any messages if you need to ... Oh- and I didn't do beets- I hate them alone, some people like them- I'd never juice them....ick!0

as far as drinking juices- I think I averaged about 3 water bottles full a day- that is about 18-24oz i think. I may have had more some days. It is really about what your body needs. Also drink about 2 or 3 times the water you typically do...sounds like a lot, but it really helps keep you full and get the stuff out of your system you are trying to. I mixed it up on what I drank- I would have different juices premade in the morning to get me through the day- highly suggest this to keep down on cleaning the juicer! and just take it with me.0
