Is that ok? I usually eat chicken and have my Special K20 (Protein water) I have about 80 grams. It says I should have 50. Should I change? I have lost 6 pounds this month.

I think everyone freaks out about this a little too much. My trainer had me change my percentages to 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat and I'm always under--it's hard eating that much protein for me!

If your way is working for you now, stick with it. In the future if it's not working, look at ways to tweak it. Just be observant.

I have mine set at 60% carbs, 25% protein and 15% fat.... and my protein goal is 81grams on a 1300 calorie a day diet with no exercise.

I've learned that carbs should be 50-60%, protein 20-30% and fat less than 30% of your total calories.

MFP tends to go alittle low with their protein allowance. When I started here, I was fairly worried about the fact that I was almost always over, but, I steadily lost, so I stopped worrying!
