Can anybody please recommend a recipe that is fairly easy to make. I don't care how long it takes but I don't want to do something that calls for a lot of ingredients. I would like vegetarian friendly. I'm tired of always making the salsa in the family so something different would be nice.

Hi there,
not quite sure what you're asking for, but you mention salsa. Hummus is another healthy dip you can make at home from soaked or canned chickpeas.
Are you looking for snacks/ nibbles? (i.e. things you'd eat in a social situation with drinks or before dinner/ in the afternoon?).
Cheers,

In the spirit of the US thanksgiving... Green bean casserole is good... Or make bruschetta (toast with tomatoes and basil on it) for an appitizer! There's also hummus, cheese spreads... Lots to look up on a search engine of your choosing!!0

A homemade hummus would be nice. I guess something more for a dip or something to snack on. Really anything lol0 -
This is a favorite for me - its easy to make and fairly low in calories. You can have this with Ritz crackers or pita chips.
It's a layered shrimp dip:
FF cream cheese or 1 full fat 1 ff (2 bricks or 3 small tubs) - take out of fridge 30 prior to making
cocktail sauce (I make my own with ketchup and horseradish so I can make it as spicy as I want)
small deveined shrimp (you get them in a can usually by the tuna)
shredded mexican cheese
green onion (chopped)
black olives (diced)
Cover platter with cream cheese, layer evenly cocktail sauce, shrimp, cheese, green onion and olives.
Cover and Refridgerate for 2 hours before serving0 -

Opps - forgot to mention. Rinse the shrimp and lay them on a paper towel, pat them dry and let them sit a bit before adding to the dip.
This dip is usually gone in minutes - It's AWESOME
