I am looking to buy myself and elliptical around Christmas (or sooner) Merry Christmas to me! Any suggestions on which ones work well or not at all would be wonderful. I plan to use it at least 3 times a week so I do not want on that is going to break quickly. I would like to spend around $500 but am willing to spend more if quality is better. THANKS!

    Go on the Precor Website, this is the brand my school uses, and it's very good. Hope this helps.

    Edit: They are dreadfully expensive, :sad:

    they had one on HSN the other day. It was just under $500 and it didn't need to be plugged in. Looked sturdy, I wanted it for myself but didn't jump.

    I have a Livestrong and I love it. I think I paid about $1200 around 6 months ago. I know that you can get great deals at the beginning of the New Year - when everyone is setting their gols for the New Year - stores put them on sale - if you can wait.

    I like my digital IFit elliptical. I bought it from "Play it Again Sports" for $300.
