Yes. A calorie counts whether its from fruit or a piece of cake.0
-
Yup!!0
-
Of course.
Why wouldn't I?0 -
Only when I eat it.0
-
Yes. Weight watchers is the only program I know of that's set up where your fruits and veggies (well, most of them) are unlimited.
The difference is that they average their limits with the assumption that people will be eating 2 or 3 servings of fruits and veggies per day like the guidelines recommend. Here at MFP, there is no assuming. You log what you eat and you earn calories if you burn them.
Best of luck!0 -
I always enter it into my Food Diary and MFP counts it0

I count everything that goes in my mouth. Fruit is no exception.0
-
Of course, it's the only way to get an true count of calories.0
-
If it goes in my body it has to be counted..0
-
Yep, a calorie is a calorie and they all add up.0
-
Always! It's just smart. Even if you're eating healthy it's still important to stay in the right calories!0

:blushing: If it goes in my mouth (and I don't spit it out), I count it.0
-
Everything I eat gets logged. Helps keep me honest0

If it's got calories, I count it. I don't really pay attention to the sugar in it though, cause I limit myself to two servings a day.0

^^^lol
but really if u eat it count it...i can get just as obese only eating bananas....as i can eating pizza....maybe slightly healthier cause im well hydrated from the potasium but thats all lmao0 -
I add everything even gum just because it’s fun. The 4 calories are probably burned in the first chew but still, its fun to log, I LOVE LISTS!
Fruit is good to log b/c it helps you track your sugars (limit fruit to 2 servings a day - yes it's natural sugar but still must not be overly consumed) and fiber.0 -

If you are counting calories I don't see why you wouldn't0
-
Yep, I count it. I was on WW and lost a lot of weight not counting fruit. But when I wanted to lose that lose 5 pounds (which I couldn't seem to do over a period of 6 months!), I started counting my fruit (and consequently started eating less of it), I lost that last 5 pounds in a month! So, now I count it.0

If what you're eating has calories and you're counting calories, then yes. Otherwise you're doing something other than counting calories.0
-
Yes, like others here are saying count everything you eat or drink to get an accurate count of your intake. This tracking system works because you are aware of your intake and can adjust from there. You will also realize foods you thought were healthy may be way exceeding your fat or carb intake. Not to say fruit isn't good for you , but too much will make you exceed your caloric intake for the day.0
