30DS - moving up a level

Just finished day 3 of the shred and am finding it gets a bit of a sweat on!
Looking ahead though, I don't/can't do push ups on my toes for example and doubt that will change in 7 days. Does that mean I will struggle with level 2, or are there "easier" options on all levels (e.g.push ups on your knees)?

Every level has "modified" exercises, and every level incorporates different movements. I'm can't quite remember, but I'm pretty sure pushups aren't even on every level.0

I will never be able to do push ups on my toes. Yes there is modified versions in the next levels. If there isn't just keep doing them on your knees anyways. Work out videos aren't meant to make you feel useless, they are meant to build your stamina. Keep at it. Some day you may be able to do those pushups!! If not, who cares?0

You can always do the less strenuous version of any exercise, no matter what level you are on. I had knee surgery a few years ago and found that all the jumping jacks in the first level were aggravating my knee...so I did other cardio exercises during those parts of the video to keep my heart rate up until my knee didn't hurt any more.0

Wow, I'm also on day 3, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread! xx0 -
All levels have modifiers. I started out doing all the push-ups on my knees, even part of the way into level 2. I finished the Shred though and have started her Ripped in 30 and last night was the FIRST TIME i did ALL of the push-ups military style! I didn't get that far down into most of them but i did them! your strength will increase. try doing as many "real" push-ups that you can and then doing the modifier for the rest. that really helped me make the transition. Good luck, you can do it!0

thanks all - you've made me dread level 2 a little less!0

I'm on level 3 now, but I stayed on each level until I felt I had mastered it... Rather than doing the 10 day each thing. That's just me though. I didn't like the thought of half-assing one level then moving to a harder one. I feel strong doing level 3 now so I'll probably get something new but I was so out of shape when I started that it took me a month of doing level 1 before I moved on. (I didn't do it every single day either... Prob 4-5 times a week.)0
