    Don't be in too big a hurry to go with the IUD. They are not recommended for women who definitely want more children, or women who are not in a long term monogamous relationship. If you get an STD, the IUD is foreign material in your body that the germs will cling to, making it more likely to go into your uterus and cause permanent infertility.

    Some people love depo, some people hate it. Some people gain a lot of weight, but then some people gain a lot of weight from not being on any birth control and getting pregnant.

    There are progesterone-only birth control pills that can give you a preview of how your body might react to depo. Just don't forget to take one, because they're not as strong as the usual estrogen-progesterone combination pills.
