Good morning!!!!

I am so excited! I had lost .6 pounds from Saturday to Monday so I jumped on the scale but didn't expect to lose anymore...NOPE I'm down to 142.0!!!! That's 1.6 pounds so far!!!!! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

Tonight I'm hoping to get a good workout in since hubby will be gone :frown:

I'm also completely baffled that it was a high of 75 yesterday yet its SNOWING today!?!?!?

Way to go Renae! Gotta love the weather!
I hope everyone else is doing well this morning!
I am going to get in my push ups and hopefully sit ups this morning before taking Alex to therapy. My in laws just left for the first treatment. Thank you all for your prayers! I will let you all know how she does! I also need to get in gear and clean some more. I kind of slacked off yesterday once the in laws got here. I am losing motivation so I need to finish it up! I did drink all my water again so that's an improvement! I am just so ready to be done cleaning!
My inlaws haven't said anything about me looking like I've lost weight, but my MIL did say she can tell I am getting muscular again in my arms! I can feel it in my shirts too. The seam at the shoulders and the sleeves are getting tight. At least I know it's not fat!
Otay, off to do push ups and sit ups. Have a good day!

Didn't like the yoga class I went to last night. It was about 90 degrees in there (or at least it felt like it), and there were about 30 people. It was supposed to be Intermediate Hatha, but it didn't feel any different than what we do in my normal class. The teacher said something about normally doing inversions and arm balances, but I just can't see it in a class that size. I won't do headstands unless I can watch every person (or I know their abilities). All that to say that I'm having a hard time finding a class I like half as much as my normal one. I did like one teacher at my gym, but she teaches at 8am, and THAT is beyond my abilities.

Today, my teacher is still sick so I'm teaching again. I'm wondering what it would be like to do yoga every day for a month. I might try it soon. I'm also heading to the gym this morning, lots of cooking and cleaning as well: for my party on Sat.

    Hi ladies. . .

Hope all goes well with your MIL, MM. And Mary, I quit my old yoga class because we would do shoulderstand and plow and the instructor did them with us. . .instead of watching us. . .talk about a neck injury waiting to happen. I keep waiting to hear that my old gym is getting sued for negligence. . .I wonder how many out of court settlements they've had. . .

Anyways, today my goal is to go back to bikram.

Date night was really, really good. We went to a high-end Mexican restaurant that uses all organic, mostly locally-sourced food. I had dessert. . .a lovely tiny flan that wasn't too sweet. Then, we walked home. I stayed within my calories due to small portions and more authentic (read: not smothered in cheese sauce) mexican. The only problem is my "decaf" with dessert wasn't. . .so I didn't get to sleep until 4 a.m. Ugh.

I'm off to edit my conference paper. . .let's see if I can get 45 pages down to 10. I hate editing, because a lot of it for me consists of doubting every thing I originally wrote. . .oof.

    :flowerforyou: Take care.

    Update:

Ended up starting to feel quite ill again. . .so did a light yoga practice at home instead of the bikram, thereby giving myself the option of a day off between now and Saturday if I need it.

I guess I pushed it too hard with my workout yesterday. . .but it felt so GOOD to be back in the gym. *sigh*
