Hello,
Did anyone who has done 30DS get a weight gain when they started? If so how long before you started to lose?
Thanks!

I didn't gain weight but I stalled for 2 weeks before starting to lose again. From what I've read, it's mostly water retention from muscle repair so you shouldn't worry too much.0

I gained almost 2lbs in the first few weeks of starting :noway: but it didn't stay...thank god !0

I didnt lose weight for the first week and a half.
It just takes time, especially if you are just now starting to work out.0 -
I gained almost 4 lbs when I started it... took about 2 weeks to come off. I'm hoping to lose a couple more while I finish the shred... but we will see if that happens. Keep with it, it's a great workout!0

Hi I gained weight at the start of 30DS went up 4pds the first week :grumble: ! At the start the weight gain along with every muscle aching so bad did make me wonder “why the hell am I doing this?” The first 4 – 5 days are a killer every muscle is so sore but keep pushing through it honestly it does get better. I’m on the day 10 of Level 2, moving up to Level 3 tomorrow. I am back to the weight I was before I started so no difference on the scales yet, but I have definitely lost inches. I’m waiting until I finish before I take my final measurements but I can see the changes in my body with more definition and I’ve more stamina. Clothes that did fit perfect are too loose now and clothes that I had that were too tight on me fit perfect. I’m a happy girl :bigsmile:0

If you're not using to "strength" workouts, your muscles will DEFINITELY be retaining water.
It's all to repair, nothing to worry about.0 -
I usually do a whole lot of cardio, but I rarely do strength workouts - aside from kettlebells like twice a week.
I am recently though coming back to working out in the past fortnight after about 6 weeks off.
Hmm, maybe it is all water/ muscles repairing.
Today, I reported another increase of 1.2 pounds since yesterday, I was distraught!!!
