Despite weight, diet no budge for week!

So I am getting frustrated.
I'm 222.2 on the dot and have been for the last 5 days. This is morning weight BTW.
I work out 4 days a week, walk 3 miles at least 4 days week, and weight train. Why I feel the muscle, especially in my arms and legs. My capacity is high, my diet is at least 75 solid non processed foods the dang scale won't budge!! I listen to my body when it tells me its hungry, but this is frustrating.
Anyone else out there, what do you think I should do?

Maybe your body is used to the way you're doing things now! Eating fewer calories or upping the exercise could cause some scale movement.0

Drink more water! I know it is hard for some people but for three days make the effort to drink at least 10 glasses of water and see if it makes a difference for you - it does for me!0

I hear ya! I was stuck at 175.4 (or greater on some days) for over two weeks. Your body plateaus at different times. Anyone who has ever tried losing weight has experienced it. Hang in there, keep logging and it WILL come off. I just broke through my two week plateau this morning. Try mixing up your exercise to trick up your meabolism. If your run, then bike. Switch it up some to break through that plateau sooner. We are here for you!0

Just keep doing what your doing and don't give up. That happened to me last week...for a week and a half the scale didn't move..then suddenly out of nowhere i dropped 3 pounds...and it's stayed off all week this week. I am so glad I didn't give up.0

I hate to assume, but it sounds like your weighing yourself daily. Don't do that. Weigh yourself once a week. Also, if you are weight training your muscles may be holding on to water. Try measuring yourself and drink plenty of water. If you're burning fat you may be losing inches. Rely on the measuring tape and not the scale.0

Probably a stupid question, but it's not that time of the month is it? I know that, at least for me, water retention will cause you to plateau or even put on weight for 5-7 days.0

Nope =(
But, you never know! Since I boosted my metabolism I had a stint where I was every two weeks. That has since calmed down. But who knows!
I will keep doing what I am doing and change up my workout routine. See where that lands me. Thanks!0 -
Why are you weighing yourself that often? It's only 5 days.. are you really expecting that drastic of a change in 5 days?0

My weight loss was more like stair steps than a steady slope. I would often go two weeks with no loss despite maintaining my diet and exercise. So don't fret and just think long term. If you keep it up it WILL come off!!0

Yes. Even .1 lbs. YES.
I busted my *kitten*, and I don't think that was alot to ask from the Gods. I dont!0 -
There are any number of things that can affect the scale and water retention. That is why it is suggested that you not go by the numbers on the scale, it doesn't really give you an accurate reflection of what is going on. I do like to weight myself, although I limit it to once a week and I don't live or die by the numbers. I rely on how my clothes fit, my measurements and how I look.
5 days is not a very long time and a big change won't be seen so soon.0 -

Are you just starting to work out? Muscles can retain water while they are repairing themselves, which can often account for an increase in weight, not fat, when people first start exercise programs or up their intensity.
Again, the fact you didn't lose any scale weight does not mean you aren't making progress.0 -

I weigh myself every day too. Your brain still understands that the number may fluctuate. When I see the number go up it's like the scales are telling me to work harder or else! And everytime the number goes down - even by 0.1 - it's like a little victory.
I don't see a problem with weighing yourself every day. I don't know about you guys, but if I ignore the scales even for a week I tend to lose focus.0
