Out of my whole body I hate my thighs the most. I have pretty muscular legs, BUT my inner thighs touch and I hate it! I know many people have this problem and I really want it to go away. I can't stand when I'm wearing shorts and when I walk I feel them rubbing together. It drives me crazy!! -_- if any one has any ideas of what exercises or tips on what you did/someone you know did to get them to go away I would love to hear them. I want SEXY legs, and my thighs are not letting that happen =p please help me. I want to work all winter long so by the time summer comes my sexy legs will be ready for the beach(: thank you!

Xoxox,
Bethany

I can relate....I hate my thighs too! They look so huge like an elephant's. Before MFP, I remember wearing a dress one day and my inner thighs rubbed together so much that when I got home they were actually swollen and tender.

I've lost 40 lbs in all so far and I must say the thighs were definitely the last place to show any loss for me. I'm not sure what worked but I can tell you I do a lot of walking and running so I think that might have helped.

My inner thighs touch, but I know it's a combo of muscle and fat. My PINK sweat pants are pilling right there! LOL Only thing I can think of is dropping body fat% . I'm trying with more cardio and lower carb days. Other than that, I love my little legs. They're pretty strong.

I love walking, I'm not a huge fan of running (I'm trying to build up to the point where I can run a mile without having to walk at some points, but it's difficult!) congrats on losing 40 pounds, that's excellent! I might try walking more often and longer. With winter coming I may have to start walking indoors =/ I would much rather be out in the fresh air, but if it means my thighs will get smaller, I will do just about anything!! Thanks for your tips! (:

I hear you on the thighs touching! Squats and lunges of all types will tone up your legs. Mine are touching less and less as the muscles get tighter. Of course burning off the fat with strength training and cardio will be the only thing to actually get rid of the fat on them. LONG PROCESS in other words...but YOU CAN DO IT!

Some may disagree but I am a firm believer that while you can't target areas to lose weight you can target tone. And since a pound of muscle take up less room than a lb of fat toning your upper legs makes them smaller. I think mine always touch some even at my fittest, but that is because I carry lots of weight in my legs regardless of my size...

That's how I feel! I love my legs, but the only problem is my inner thighs. I just want them to not touch. There doesn't have to be a huge difference, but as long as there is an inch or so between my legs, I'm good!! =p we can all lose what fat we have on our inner thighs, I know it! (:

You can't workout on that one spot, so I suggest card workouts to burn far. I still have that problem even after my 30 lb loss, but it's not as bad. I also suggest weight lifting and toning exercises to make your legs leaner

Thank you so much for your tips. Yes I can do it, I know I can. Like I said, I have the whole winter to get them in shape and I WILL DO IT!! Squats are so easy and I can even do them while I watch my favorite TV show! It's perfect!! (:

a GREAT way to work the thighs is getting on an Elliptical or even better, a Gazelle machine! Im telling you - them suckers WORK the hell out of my thighs and I can measure the difference it makes... Im almost at that point where my thighs dont 'meet each other at the half-way mark', LOL!

That is true, but I think a few years ago my legs didn't touch. Sooo I am hoping that I can get back to that size and if not, I would still like to have an inch or so of where they don't touch. I hate when I wear a dress or shorts and my thighs get red and they HURT!! I will do anything, target just my thighs or cardio and strength training, to get my inner thighs in shape!

I would love to do that, but I don't go to a gym =/ I'm trying to save money and workout at home. Although, I might buy a gym membership soon so I can have better results with my weight loss journey! Thank you though! If I do get a gym membership, you will see my butt on an Elliptical! =p
