New Running shoes?

Hi. I have had my faithful trainers for 11 years now and I started running last December. They aren't running shoes at all, more like aerobic shoes. I am in desperate need of some fantastic bouncy running shoes but do not know where to start? I am in the UK. Can anyone suggest what to go and try out so I am not in a shop for days on end trying please? I treadmill run mostly but like to get out once a week for a proper run :-)
Thanks in advance

Start by walking into a running store and talking to the staff. They should fit you for a proper pair based on your needs, and not popularity or name brands. Everyone has "their favorite" brand. That does you no good, to wear shoes that don't match your running form needs. :-)0

try a running shop as they will fit you for the best shoes. Mine are asics and quite comfy but i did get measure for them. try shops like 'up and running' or 'sweatshop' and they should be able to help you.0
