How many calories are in a seaside stick of rock? I've looked it up and it says 50 calories.. surely it's not that low? It's a stick of sugar !! :noway:

granulated sugars dont actually have that many calories! only problem is, the calories they do have are "empty" or non nutritional calories, and all they do is raise your blood sugar. so rock candy is essentially melded together granulated sugar !

I logged one at one point and it was about 70 so that sounds about right. Refined sugars are higher in calories than the stick 'cause I think it's PURE, as in, unprocessed sugar.
