I think I have used soup cans as weights before. I have a bike trainer and the back wheel is jacked up about 4 or 5 inches and along with the trainer they were selling a "bike stabilizer" or something to even the height of the front wheel.

Please...I use a phone book under the front wheel, and added my "housebuying for dummies" book when I found it wasn't high enough. Saved myself $14 bucks.
  • I used soup cans up until this past week when I finally broke down and bought me some weights lol!! it's amazing what you'll use when you don't have something lol!

WOW! I never even thought of using soup cans! How crazy would it be to see me walking my usual walk with soup cans? Thanks for the great idea!

Innovation as a way of saving money is GREAT! $5 here, $10 there, and another $20 there adds up! Use water bottles, too!

I have a blanket under my glider.
  • Before I bought my weights,

I use to use gallons of milk for weights.

I use to use a leather belt to stretch my muscles.

I use to do my step aerobics from the edge of the sidewalk down to the street

I use to do my aqua aerobics at the beach.

I use to use the edge of my chair to help me squat all the way down.

I found many ways to exercise with I was not able to go to the gym.
