i love the concept of build muscle burn fat, like chalean extreme, but i can't afford the disks. I want to start doing more at home as well as at the gym but its really hard for.
right now i hit the gym 4-6 times a week, switching off cardio and 30 min workout with cadrio and strength training up & lower. I have been at this for 3-4 weeks but i don't see much changing. don't get me wrong its changing just i would like to make sure that i am doing my absolute most i can do and i don't feel like i am.
does anyone know where i can get some videos or list of strength training exercises that i can do at home with dumbbells.

Check Target or Sears Fitness sections. They have a variety of DVDs. Hope it helps!0

I don't know about where you are, but our cable TV has a fitness on demand channel where you can access fitness programs anytime. I love it because there isn't an extra charge. These are just programs they play on cable at other times.0

www.lowerbodymakeover.com
He's awesome and you can do it in your undies in your livingroom! And the price is right! THis is just the site for the lower body, however he has workouts to target the core and upper body as well. Have fun!0 -
You can get fitness dvd's from netflix as well a lot of people have netflix but dont realize they have fitness dvd's..Im sure you can get a list off the net for strength training excercises. Try google...Also try the library...another option is joining www.freecycle.org its a free place where basically people give away their unwanted things. You will be surprised how many people have excercise items and equipment they dont use or want anymore. Especially as we go into March.0

I got a boot camp video called "10 minute solution: hot body bootcamp". It was only about $10 or so from Wal-mart and it frequently uses dumbbells. It has 5 ten minute workouts and you can do one or combine them.0

Dr. Oz (from Oprah) has a 20 minute workout you can print out at his website www.realage.com (I think) You can pick and choose exercises to fit you. No charge and my husband that body builds actually thinks the advice is pretty sound for toning.0

Fitness mags have great workout plans. You can buy older versions of Oxygen Mag on line from them for a lot cheaper, and you can even find out what's in the mags before you buy it. I rip out the pages and put them in plastic and have a binder of different programs. I made an exercise sheet so I can keep track of when I work what area, with how much weight, etc., so i can note improvements, etc. it's been working great for me. Also try resistance bands, stability bal stuff too.:drinker:0 -
