i lost two pounds the first two weeks on MFP, bringing me down to 140. THen, after that last weigh in, i've had two really bad days when i went way over my calories. i tried to make up for it by going down to 1200 calories (I'm usually at 1400) but sure enough, when i stepped onto the scale this morning, it read 140 again. i'm bummed about the lack of weight loss, but nor surprised.

this only reinforces how important it is to stay within calories!!!

I understand exactly where you are coming from. I weighed the same I did last week and I knew it was going to happen I had some bad days too. It is just important to stay focused we ca do this!

    Not to "excuse" bad days...
Some of WHAT you eat could be playing a role too.
Like if they were high in salt, dairy (for some), carbs (for some)... your body could be reacting to that as well.... usually in the form of water retention.

You'll get better. (At least I keep telling myself that!)
