Ready for a healthier me!

Hi I'm 29 years old going on 30 next month and I want to lose my baby weight. I'm not happy where I am right now. I'm 212lbs and hoping to get down to my weight before my lil bundle of joy of 145lbs. I'm hoping to make some new friends that keep me motivated. I'm a stay at home mom so I sorta have time to exercise but not much. So right now I'm just making sure I'm not taking in too many calories.
Any tips or tricks you guys have are always welcome! I'm also a great listener if you need someone to talk to. I don't judge! I don't care if you are big, small, tall, or short. I love making new friends! So far my first day is going good except for all the leftovers that I keep picking at! LOL I think it will be easier once they are all gone. ;o)

A good trick is to cut waaay down on soda and carbs. Cut soda out completely if possible:-) I know it's hard..but you can do it:-) And snack on fruits, veggies, and yogurts:-) Greg lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks just by doing that!0

I don't drink pop anymore and I think when I go shopping this week I'm going to pick up some healthy snacks like celery and carrots. Hoping I can get Richard to start eating healthier too. But Supper is the worst cause I like to make quick easy meals! ;o)0
