I'm not sure I'm 5 ft 3 and half and only just got into 16's when I dropped below the 11st mark.

I'd like to get into 14's too but tried some on in Debenhams and they are still a bit of a tight squeeze around my tummy, I reckon I need to lose about another 4" off tummy for them to be comfy.. I guess it depends where your weight is?

My tummy is currently 36" and waist 32 ".

    I'm 5'7" and also weigh 13stone 9lbs.

I was out shopping today and bought myself some size 14 tops and they are fitting well.

I have large thighs and carry most my weight around my middle, and i am able to fit back into my size 14 jeans now.

What I am trying to say is everyone is different, but you cant be far away from fitting it your 14s...

    Good luck :)

Usually the general rule is that you go down a dress size every stone.

That's what I've heard though, not sure as height differences need to be taken into consideration. I'm only 5'2" - so it tends to be true for me, but for anyone taller it may be a few extra lbs loss.
  • It can massively depend on the person! I am short at 5ft 2 and my highest weight was 15 stone 10, this was a 16/18 for me (UK). I am now 13 stone 8, and a small 14. In fact 14 tops fit well, my 14 jeans are far too big!

I'm 5'7" and I have to be under 80 kgs (12.5 stone) in order to be size 14. I'm now 75 kgs (11.8 stone) and am a size 12 in pants, my bottom is a bit smaller, but I'm still 81 cms (31.8 inches) around the waist, trying to get my waist under 80.

Of course it very much depends on the brand. I was a UK 10 in Next and Fat Face at 11 1/2 stone, but was a size 14 in Jigsaw, 12 in most places.
