Sorry I am not sure what the technical name is for them....but I have seen just a few people either at the gym or hiking wearing toe shoes....Adias are called adipure trainers.

Do any of you wear them??? What do you think of them??? Just wondering if they are something I should add to my workout shoe wardrobe??

Thanks - I hope you are enjoying a long weekend

I read an article that some gyms don't like when people wear them because if someone drops anything, there is so little protection people can get hurt more easily.

But some people swear by them, so it's really just up to your personal preferences. I can't wear them because I need sturdy arch support, otherwise my feet cramp up really bad.
  • I love my vibrams, five finger shoes. I run and train in them. The longest run I did in them was almost 8 mles.

I have the vibram 5 fingers speed (the ones that lace up like normal shoes) that I use for weight training at crossfit. I was looking at several minimalist shoes to lift in, and these happened to go on sale for $50. I had tried them on in a store so I knew what size/style I wanted. I love them, but I don't think they're by any means a "need." For me, my "need" was a minimalist shoe, and there were tons of options. These happened to be the least expensive at time!

The site with the sale is listed below, however they have sold out of several types now, including the ones I purchased.
