I am starting to do crunches to help tone my stomache and when I logged it it doesn't show I burn any calories. Figured it would but it doesn't?

hmmm... did you put it in strength training? Cause when you log "Calisthenics (Situps, pushups, etc" or something like that it says calories are burned...0

log it in cardio exercises under calisthenics. it definitely burns calories.0

Are you entering them under strength? That's just for keeping track of reps etc. Log it under cardiovascular. But crunches don't burn a lot of calories. If I remember correctly, it's something like 5 per minute. How long can you really maintain doing crunches?0

I will do it under cardio. I put it under strength.0

yeah, but it in cardio, but if you want a really great ab work out that won't hurt your back, try planks!0

Everything burns calories, even farting.
Though I would suggested you reconsider your method for toning your stomach.

According to fitness information website HealthStatus, ten minutes of crunches at a moderate pace burns about 50 calories.

For most people, they don't burn many calories, but they do burn a few. However, if you're looking for good ab exercises you should find some that work your transverse abs. Crunches only work the top layer of muscle, which can actually add bulk to your waistline. Working the transverse abs, which are the deepest layer of muscle, will help to flatten your belly.0
