Just got very excited! I bought a pair of Hudson jeans W28 petite in September as an incentive to fit into them by Xmas. When I bought them, they barely went over my butt. Just had a thought to see how I was going and they do up!!!! Still a tad snug but wearable. My husband thought I was mad spending that much on a pair of jeans ($190) that didn't fit but they do now!!!

I've never been lower than a 30 (maybe when I was about 10) so this is huge!!!

Strong work! You don't drop 10 sizes without dropping the first one! :D

That said.... I'm sympathetic to your hubby if you keep dropping down out of those jeans! Get to know a good tailor who can remake them for you every few sizes! ;)

I think he was more worried that I wouldn't get into them :)

Luckily, if anything, I'm only looking to drop one more size and as I've only got a little bit left, that could take a while so they will definitely get worn

Aha! My bad, W28 is a European size, isn't it? 28W, in the US, is for pretty big ladies; most of us are shooting for something in the 4-12 range. Checking out the size conversion charts, I see that W28 is a size I probably can't aspire to, ever, because my bones are just not made that slim. Congrats!
