Today, I graded for my second degree black belt in Ju jitsu. It was a busting session, but I pushed through and passed.
Was talking to one of the senior graders at the end who said "I'll see you again for third dan" I said hopefully and..what she said next absoloutly made my day..
"The federation doesn't get people as good, hard working, and determained as you, and let them go easy. You WILL be doing your third."
I literally didn't know what to say at all. 6 months ago that grading would have slayed me fitness wise.
New goal - Kick *kitten* even harder for third
