and nothing...Was hoping my first week would give me a bit of a boost! I've exercised every day kept below my calories (but not massively - no starvation mode) I haven't drunk alcohol, I've had lots of water and I've eaten a healthy range of foods and I've lost....nada, zip, zilch, zero.... BOOOOOO!

do you normally exercise everyday? I find i need to weigh myself after a rest day after a lot of exercise as my muscles retain water and feel all heavy. Give it a couple of weeks - also it is advised that you should take at least one rest day a week

I usually exercise 3 or 4 times a week - so maybe a day of rest may help!0

Just keep at it. I'm the same way and i'm finally seeing a the numbers change on my scale and my body changing. I don't have much to lose and I build muscle quickly. Your body will adjust and you'll see the changes. For the first couple of weeks, maybe concentrate on how much better you feel, how much more energy you have and be proud of the good lifestyle you are in. good luck!0 -
Thanks - I'll try and keep motivated!0

Don't be disheartened, it will happen if you stick with it plus better to be exercising than only cutting calories. You may have lost fat but gained muscle. Great run today well done! I just did a 5.5km charity Santa run in full costume with a couple of hundred other santas, was great fun!0

Do not get frustrated... it took how long to put the weight on??? It takes a while to take it off!0

Since you only have 10lbs to lose, it's going to be harder for that weight to come off.
Keep at it and and don't get discouraged0
