Advent challenge

It's Advent Sunday today and though it's not 1st December and we're not opening our Advent Calendars yet, I have decided to treat Advent as a bit like Lent, a time of preparation and denial. I'm going to give up chocolate in all its forms for the period of advent (as I do for Lent), and also stick to my diet like glue for the entire time. Things have got a bit out of hand on the food front recently, and I want to be able to enjoy Christmas without feeling like I don't 'deserve' the treats. This is my pledge; would love to have others join me so we can check in and see how we're all doing.

For Advent, I pledge:

• no chocolate, biscuits, cake or any refined sugar
• three meals with protein at each meal
• lots of water
• exercise every day
• a quiet reflective time each day, even for a few minutes

    Except I do take a rest day from exercise every sat or sun...my body needs it!

    Yay, I love a challenge! Count me in too.

    I pledge:
    - no chocolate, biscuits
    - not drink wine during the week
    - do some exercise every day. even if it's just a 30 minute stroll.
    - drink more water.

    How are we all doing? I've done a 20 minute run and have stuck to my protein at each meal and no biscuits etc so far! Still have supper and the rest of the evening to get through. So far so good!

    So far I am doing great...exercised mon and tues, will go to gym again today...have been making good food choices, too...

    The hard part for me will be a Christmas party this weekend, going out with friends for dinner to New Yourk City next weeekend...and a cookie swap!

    I love cookies...LOL

    Well done! I haven't exercised yet today as I haven't had time - hoping to fit in a quick 30 day shred workout later this afternoon. I hope you have fun in NY - cookies are my downfall too!
