Anyone who eats healthy knows that eating fresh hunted game meat is even healthier than eating just chicken, turkey, and pork. That's because there is no hormones or additives in the meat. It's all natural.

Here's my recipe for Venison (deer/elk/antelope/and the like) slow cooker pot roast, it makes 12 servings:

3 lbs of venison roast
2 pkgs Green Giant Red Potatoes and Green Beans in Rosemary Butter Sauce
12 baby carrots (diced)
1/3 large red onion (diced)
2 mushrooms
1 Herb Ox beef boullion cubes (prepared with 2 cups boiling hot water)
2 whole bay leaves
1 tsp thyme
5 cups water

Prepare onion, mushrooms, carrots and beef boullion.

Place meat on bottom of crock pot, place all vegetables on top, season with the thyme.

Pour in the prepared beef boullion and water.

Top with the 2 bay leaves.

Set crock pot for 6 hours on high.
