Still going strong

I'm now 7 weeks into my first ever attempt at a diet, and continue to be amazed with the results. I'm 9.3 kgs down on my starting weight, so that's almost 20.5 lb (or 1 stone 6.5 lb) down already.

I've added swimming & walking (Endomodo nice app) to my exercise regime along with the 4 times a week exercise bike burn. On my second swim last week I managed 64 x 25 mtr lengths in 54 minutes, so that's a mile

That 1st target of 90 kgs is firmly within my grasp, beyond that we'll see, maybe 85 kgs. For now though I want to reach 95 kg (15 stone or 210 lbs) by Christmas.

SW 107.3kg (16 stone 12.6 lb or 236.6 lbs)
CW 98.0kg (15 stone 6.1 lb or 216.1 lbs)
1st Target 90kg (14 stone 2.4 lb or 198.4 lbs)
2nd target . . . we'll see

Thankyou so much MFP, and the friends through which we share our journey.

It's been steady progress for you and you're right to feel pleased about that. Keep it up and the 95 for Christmas is 'do-able'. Well done and thanks for being one of my MFP friends.

You're doing a blinding job and all the exercise is certainly helping you shed the lbs.

I started in August and have lost 17.4kg. This is by no means my first time at trying to lose weight - I started my first diet at 16 yrs old - but have been doing diets every other year or so since my 30s.

MFP has certainly helped me keep track of what I'm eating and how much exercise I'm doing and that has made a HUGE difference to my level of commitment.

I also know that I can eat what I like when I like as long as I account for it. That makes it easier to eat well and not to binge on sweets and chocolate.

Good luck and look forward to Christmas at 95kg and then a whole year of challenges to get to my goal of 70kg by this time next year :glasses:
