Ok it seems like my step counter is just not working right. I picked up a New Balance Via Slim last night and will see how it compares today.

My old step counter is no longer working properly. It was counting less than half of the steps I was taking. I had been thinking of a new one for a while anyway and the New Balance ons is much smaller!

Here it is 12/12 and I just saw this post on my home page. Don't know why it showed up today, but I would like to do it. I have had a step pedometer for a couple of months now and use it fairly often. But now I will use it everyday, except on Saturdays, which is the Sabbath. Thanks for making this challenge. Are you planning on doing it past December?0

Welcome!
Any step counter is fine so long as it works. I just replaced mine. My old one had started missing lots of steps. My new one is a New Balance Via Slim that does have some programming most of which I ignored. I just use it to count steps. I do like that it is much smaller than my old one so it is not as noticebale when I wear it all day.
I am hoping to continue this next year. My step counter collected dust for a several years so this has really helped keep me active.0 -
Running errands for work, shopping and an after dinner walk really added up!
