Maybe a Philadelphia roll although I don't know if they normally have avocado. Livestrong says 317 calories for the roll. http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/nutrition-calories/food/generic/salmon-cream-cheese-avocado-sushi-roll/
  • Thankyou so much!!! YIKES!
  • Just search sushi. They have all kinds of combos. Or like "salmon sushi".

Okay I'm assuming the little roll I had didnt have 317 cals in it so when I looked it up it said 8 pieces. Does that soudn right? Only 317 in 8 rolls? I thought 317 in one was alot but that in 8 doesnt sound like much?

usually the roll is cut into 8 pieces so one roll is that many calories not one slice

It's the rice and the cream cheese that give it all of its calories. The Philly roll is my absolute favorite but I usually stick to the California roll made with brown rice.

    this^

the 317 calories refers to the whole roll....something about 8 inches long, which is how they make it and then cut it up into about 8 pieces. I am assuming what you ate was the smaller pieces about an inch or so wide? in that case you calorie intake sould be smaller than the "8 pieces" its saying for the roll you had (or similar). The calories might not be exact, but its close. You figure the two pieces you ate have only a small amount of each of the ingredients and alot of rice. I'd guess somewhere about 100 calories for two pieces, but i could be wrong....anyhow point is a "roll" in calorie counting terms is a whole roll, not the pieces like you had

The cream cheese is what makes it unhealthy. Try california rolls, pretty good for you
  • Salmon and cream cheese? Sounds like the seattle roll.

I think its a popular recipe that several cities might claim? Gotta luv sushi with salmon and cream cheese though. all calories aside, its ridiculously good
