Before I started dieting I was much more even. Now, I've lost over 65 pounds and it looks lije it's all coming from my legs, hips and bottom. It isnt coming off nearly as much on my ribs, shoulders, arms, upper back areas... So I look a little weird.
Is this normal? Do you think things will even out? I am 8 pounds over agood bmi, but have another 35 pounds to lose.

It will even out the closer you get to your goal. most people loose from their legs and hips first because thats the part that moves the most during exercise. My upper arms are HUGE and don't get smaller until i'm within 5 lb of my goal weight. That's just how my body works.
You can try doing exercises to target the areas you want to even out, like push-ups or something.0 -
All I can suggest is maybe do some strenght training for your upper body, muscles take less space in your body then fat so you would look thiner up there.0

Things will probably start looking more proportioned as you lose more weight. Your upper body may just be the last place you'll see the weight disappear. Unfortunately, it seems the weight always comes off in the places we want it to the most...last. You're doing great! Keep up the good work.0

I'm only 20 down, but for me its seems to be my face, arms, fingers.... I'd really like to see my hips, legs, and bottom go first! I suppose the only thing that really matters is that they will be gone eventually!
Congratulations on 67 pounds gone! :drinker:0 -
It is very normal for it to come off in places that you particularly don't want it to. Not implying that you don't want it to come off your lower body area. For example I want it to come off my tummy but that's not going to happen only in my tummy, you lose fat all over equally , however people don't notice it in some areas bc those are the ones that tend to hold it more then others. Hope this helps. And don't worry I am in the same boat.0

Don't worry! The first place I lose (and the last place I gain back) is my boobs! Haha! Nothing else is different about my body except that I'm almost back into a C cup! GAH!0
