Hi everyone!

I just turned 28 last week and I had lost 25 lbs last year. I didn't do anything to keep that weight off or continue losing, and have now gained it all back. Now I am going to fix that. I set up 2 days a week with my old personal trainer and will be paying him for a month in advance so that I will force myself to go. I am going to lose 40 lbs. For each 5 lbs I lose, I am going to find a new healthy recipe that I want to try and make it. At 25 lbs, i am going to go to the eye doctor and buy myself some contacts. And at my goal of 40 lbs. I am going to buy myself a pair of designer jeans. I am not putting a date on this so that I don't get discouraged. However, I would like to lose 10 lbs by Jan. 1st, which would be 2 lbs a week from now to then. However, knowing that I am starting to workout again I know that I may not see that weight drop. So my back up plan is 5 lbs and 2 inches. Let me know if anyone wants to be a buddy on here. I am good about recording my calories as I eat on my phone, 1200 a day is the goal.

I love this plan of rewarding yourself in non food related ways. I have embraced that method too. And I definitely year ya on the gaining back of the lost weight. I had lost 20 pounds and gained back 15. Now I'm heading back in the right direction! I know you can too!!

Thanks! I had to figure out how to turn self pity into actually doing something. It was just as easy as deciding to do it..who knew? I did my first workout this morning, felt great. Already had plans to do lunch with friends, going to sushi. I usually get a deep fried roll and am not doing that today. Got 20 oz. water down already, so I'm off to a good start.
