30Day Shred as gift

My friend wanted to loose weight before her wedding and I was thinking of getting her the 30DS DVD. She has two young children, one being only a month old and no real....zeal for dieting. I have never used the DVD but, I wanted to hear from people who have. Would it be good for her to use? What did you do in general to get the results you did? Do you need anything else with it like weights etc? Any feedback would be great, I would hate to get her something that wont work for her.

  • You have to be careful with post natal exercise, especially if she has had a c section. I have heard the 30 day shred is a real challenge. Maybe break her in to it gently so she doesnt get fed up. Pilates and Yoga were good for me when I was ready to start exercising again, and one of my friends was at zumba class 5 weeks after her 2nd. She said it was great as didnt feel like working out.
  • I have done the 30DS. I lost several inches and no weight (which I know is fine). With a c-section I think she should check with her ob/gyn because there is some concentrated ab work.

    Oh thank s guys. No C section but, she is a stranger to exercise so maybe going easy would be better for her. Maybe once she is up to it her and I can do the 30DS together. Thank you again :)
