Newbie here to this site and impressed with being able to lose 3 lbs so far, especially working night shifts lol. Definately not easy all i can say and then re-adjusting to days on the weekends. Any other night workers out there? lol. Just looking for new friends :)

Hey, I'm also a Canuck and I also do shift work (when on regular sets do 2 days then 2 nights, right now it's just all over the place). Congrats on your beginning weight loss! :D

wow, was not expecting this many responses so soon! lol. Glad to know there is so much support out there :) That is a good idea aa1440 :) always had trouble deciding when the best time to exercise would be on a night shift. What the heck, can't decide then do both lol. Now just have to convince myself to jump onto my elliptical before going to bed this morning :p

I am from canada as well. Looking forward to losing pork off this body. I usally eat within 1200 cals per day food was not my issue. I have been sick for the last 5 years and the medications I have been on put me over the top with my weight. Now I am better so it's time to get this pork off this bod. I went to a Zumba class last night and I made it through the whole class. I felt like I had such a major breakthrough. I am now want to do this class on monday and saturday with strength training at least one other day. I think that is a good start. Latter I would like to go at least twice a week on my lunch hour for extra cardo. Because I am hypothyroid they say in order for me to lose weight I need to get at least 60 minutes of cardo a day. So for now I need to increase my strength and stamina. I look forward to joining you in your jurney fellow canadian. We canadians are tuff I know we can do it.
