At least for a week. They decided to start selling them at our club and they want all the fitness specialists and trainers to become certified. We have 3 "demos" and every couple of weeks they get passed down. Now it's my time.

It is interesting in that most of the fitness specialists/trainers were not even aware the product existed. Given my time on MFP and other forums and my more detailed personal interest in weight loss (most of my work colleagues are either younger than my kids or have never been overweight), I have a LOT more theoretical knowledge about the BB, but have never worked with it personally.

So I will be very interested in my "one-man" experiment and comparing my personal data against all my other knowledge. Plus, with a little luck, I will also finally find out how many calories I burn having sex, so there's that to look forward to.

What is Body Bugg? I guess I can research it, but figured you posted this topic for a reason.

Enjoy your time with it! I've been using the body media for about 2 / 3 weeks now and I enjoy the data it gives to me. It wasn't very far off from my own figures. Having trained heavily with a heart rate monitor for about a year or so, I'd gotten a decent idea on what I was burning when running; chosen activity for weight loss. I find the BMF logs it accurately, however any exercise where your arms are not moving, it tends to underestimate calories in my experience with it.

Be sure to let us all know your thoughts when your finished with it.

Yeah, me too. Obviously, a personal anecdote after 1 wk of use is rather limited, but I have expressed some ideas about the product in the past (trying to be informative based on research I had done, but also cautious since I had never tried it myself), so I want to see how well I did in describing its use.

I have one and used it for 2 years. It is quite accurate. Just don't wear it too tight since it will leave an indent on your arm. Oh and wear long sleeves during summer or you'll have a stripe across your arm!
All in all a great tool for people to be able to track their TDEEl, but APEX's site is really bad on food menu.
