So I've been building up my muscle for the past few months and I'm satisfied with what I have. Now I want to become more cut or toned...so in order to do that do I cut my calories or something? I want to lose the extra fat I've gained along with the muscle but I'm not sure how to do so. Does there need to be a slight calorie deficit? I'm just a little lost here lol. Thank you!

    1) 15-20% deficit below TDEE/Maintenance
    2) Aim for min 1g PRO/lb LEAN MASS
    3) Aim for min .35g FAT/lb bodyweight
    4) Carbs to preference
    5) Keep lifting.

No such thing as "toned". Your muscle can be "toned up". If you don't want to look to muscular, then don't let your body fat levels drop below 20%.
But to lose body fat, you go into calorie deficit. Still have to lift to keep lean muscle and stay in positive nitrogen balance too.

Small calorie deficit, just like a person would to lose weight in general. Keep the protein high and keep lifting heavy though, this makes the difference in how much muscle you lose/maintain.
