Hi folks, I'm looking to purchase an affordable treadmill as a Christmas present. Does anyone have any suggestions? I see a bunch of them on Ebay but without actually seeing them it's hard to tell just how good they are. Preferably under $300.

Thanks....

Stretch your budget if you can.
You want the widest and longest you can get.
For lower prices you will sacrifice automatic level adjusting.
Don't get the Bowflex Treadclimber, unless you are tiny.
My wife likes it, but i feel too confined.

i had a proform that i loved! my mom has a nordic track that i've used a few times and i really like it as well. neither of us have had any trouble with our treadmills and we've both owned them for 5+ years.

It's actually going to be for my daughter for Christmas. The only reason I want to limit my budget to under $300 is because I'm not exactly sure how seriously she is going to do it or for how long. So I don't want to be buying a real expensive clothes rack.

I got mine for $40 bucks at a thrift store if you are interested in getting her a used one, thats a great place to start....esp if you dont know how much she will use it which was my concern as well.
