I work shift work, go to school and live in a condo so sometimes the only time I have to work out is after 10 pm at night and I cant really do anything that have jumping and such that would make lots of noise. Ive done some yoga/Pilates but was wondering if anyone had other suggestions or recommendations.

  • What about shadow boxing? You wouldn't really need to move around too much and it gets your heart rate going!

I like Jeffrey Scott's Integrated Strength Training. It's a great strength addition to my mostly cardio workouts. The most movement you do is squats, and girl, there are a LOT of squats! But there's no jumping around or anything. Good luck!

You could do any kind of strength training and do cardio on the days that you can move more. I am doing Chalene Extreme and there isn't much moving around.

I love the Hula Hoop idea! I do cardio kickboxing. I can only work out at night after my kids have gone to bed, so I feel you there!
