Spot Reducing...

The fact that you can't spot reduce is really annoying! I have been busting my *kitten*... literally :) with squats and lunges and anything else you can imagine to lose weight from the hips down. The only place that looks smaller is my stomach... which I'm not at all complaining about... but I would really love for these booty exercises to pay off! Just had to vent :-p

do sprint intervals. after about a month of doing sprint intervals, I noticed my legs and rear end clearly slimming down. I recall the "what happened to my rear end" moment one day.

here's a blog with the types of sprint interval training I do...

I'm the same. I was just complaining that I look 20% body fat from the waist up, but 30% from the waist down.

    Exactly this!

I am the same, carry my weight in my lower body. Once I am lean enough all I can think of is "dat *kitten*...." :D

The envy! I keep on doing cardio and where my legs no longer appear to carry an ounce of fat, my belly resists all efforts to be shrunk :(

I started this (well not exactly what you have posted but something similar) this week. Hopefully the results come :)

^^Same! Takes hard work and patience... I am willing and able in the hard work department... not so much in the patience department. Just keep going.... just keep going... WE CAN DO IT!!!

I'm right with you, sister. I have a stubborn spot low on my belly where all the remaining fat on my body hides. The rest of me is practically chiseled out of granite at this point, but that one 3" wide band around my middle is still flabby and annoying.
