I just completed P90X about a week and a half ago. I'm on day 4 of ChaLean Extreme. Not really feeling it...not sure how long I should give it. I like lifting weights, but she transitions too fast and I really don't like the warm up and cool down stretches/exercises.

Any suggestions or tips?

TIA,
Angie

I am doing a hyrbrid of Extreme and Turbofire. I would say give it a bit. It took me time to get used to the the difference between the programs but it is effective. I do like month 2 better - the Push month.

P90X is a bit harder than Extreme though. I would say after another week if you are not feeling it either do another round of P90X or pick something else to try. I love Turbofire!! Plus there is a Turbofire/P90X hybrid schedule.

Send me a message if you have any other questions.
  • P90X is a pretty powerful workout that will definitely make you stronger. The reason you're not feeling the workout that much is because you're already pretty strong. Pick a new workout, or maybe do more reps or use heavier weights?

I was surprised when I started the Lean Phase. I really like the program. I thought it got better as it went on.

I am doing clx/turbofire now and agree with others about getting through the first phase. I am almost through with the push phase and like it much more. I am lifting a lot heavier than ever before. Hope you end up liking it!
