1/2 cup Yoplait® Fat Free plain yogurt (from 2-lb container)
1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Few drops red pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1. In small bowl, mix ingredients until blended. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
Serves: 10 (2 TBS each)
Nutrition Information:
1 Serving: Calories 45 (Calories from Fat 30); Total Fat 3 1/2g (Saturated Fat 1g, Trans Fat 0g); Cholesterol 5mg; Sodium 120mg; Total Carbohydrate 2g (Dietary Fiber 0g, Sugars 2g); Protein 2g Percent Daily Value*: Vitamin A 0%; Vitamin C 0%; Calcium 6%; Iron 0% Exchanges: 0 Other Carbohydrate; 0 Vegetable; 1 Fat Carbohydrate Choices: 0
Did You Know?
It's the blue veins that run through blue cheese that provide the characteristic flavor—and name. Gorgonzola, Stilton and Roquefort are all varieties that would be delicious.
Storage
We found that after 2 days, the dressing lost some flavor and texture so try to use it up within that time. If you'd like a smaller amount, go ahead and cut the recipe in half.
