I didn't measure out my dry spaghetti because it's hard to separate when cooking for three others as well.

What should a cooked spaghetti portion look like? The size of my palm, etc. ?

Thanks SO much everyone! Hope I can find out before supper. :)

There are entries on here for spaghetti cooked. I just use that.

Years ago, when my hubby and I first started eating healthy (measuring and weighing everything), he was so proud that he was making me spaghetti for dinner. But when he served it he was just crushed that it was SO MANY calories for such a tiny amount.
That's because he weighed the 2 oz. cooked.....yeah, you really don't get that much when you make that mistake! LOL

I weigh my spaghetti dry and then cook it, so I can't say for certain, but to me it looks to be about 1 cup - maybe a little less maybe a little more.

If it is "Spaghetti" it should be about the size of a hockey puck.

1 serving of dry pasta (2oz) usually cooks to about 1 cup cooked --that is what it says on some of my boxes and its what I use.
