So glad I found MFP!

Hello, everyone! I've been here for about a month or so, and have even posted a couple of times, so I decided I should introduce myself.
I've always been fairly comfortable with my body being about 25 lbs overweight, at least I didn't stress about it much unless I was in a swimsuit! If my weight started creeping up, I could usually drop 5 lbs or so fairly quickly by cutting out sodas and drinking water, and just watching what I ate for a couple of weeks. Well, as I've gotten older, I found that wasn't working for me anymore.
At the end of December, I went to the doctor, and the number I saw on the scale did NOT make me happy. So, during the first week of January, I started to eat sensibly and exercise on my Wii Fit I got for my birthday. I had looked around on the internet for a calorie log I could print out and I wasn't finding anything I really liked. Then one day, I was on another message board I hang out at, and someone there mentioned MFP. I decided to check it out and it didn't take me long to find out I liked this place!
In the past month, I've learned soooooo much! But best of all, I've been putting what I learn to use, and it's working!! So, thanks to everyone that has provided support and been an inspiration to me without even knowing it! :drinker:
