Cleaning house and re-arranging furniture burns calories!

Who would a thought?! We are expecting 4 friends for the weekend of my birthday and have been trying to get creative with furniture so folks won't end up sleeping on the floor in the living room with 3 cats on top of them. I started re-arranging rooms and furniture on Wednesday. I didn't get my work out in and went over on my calories. Just out of curiosity I searched for moving furniture in the exercise section. Sure enough there it was! And quite a few calories burned I might add. I decided to look up cleaning as well. I was really surprised at the amount of calories burned just cleaning the house. This made me look at my calorie output vs. intake a little differently. I wasn't eating all of my exercise calories every day. On top of that I wasn't counting days when I did heavy cleaning or even light cleaning. I ate all my calories yesterday and Thursday. Today I was 1.8 pounds lighter. Crazy!
