Tracking HIIT?

Those of you that do HIIT, how do you track it? I do it on the treadmill, should I just enter the amount of time at each speed?

If you don't have a HRM that is what I would do, but this may underestimate the burn as at the lower speed you will probably be burning more as you HR is still elevated and you are breathing harder then you would if you just ran that speed, so this would give you some cushion for MFP over estimating your burn.0 -

You will not burn 3 times more cals doing HIIT, then regular cardio at the same speeds.0 -
I am tracking by average HR anyway, I input whatever calorie burn is calcualted from my weight and average heart rate0

Okay as I don't have an HRM (have put it on my wish list for xmas though!) I'll keep putting in the amount of minutes at the differents speeds. I'd rather underestimate than overestimate my cals burned0
