I only opened an account cause I thought it'd be neat to see whats going on behind the scenes on the PGA tour. Now it seems like every second day or so I get an email saying so and so is following you on Twitter. :laugh:

I NEVER post anything on there and I checked it out for 1 day about a year ago when I first got my iphone. Makes me wonder wtf they're following. :huh:

    Mainly they are hoping for a follow back. Many are marketers, often "spammers". They look influential if they have a lot of followers, so they follow people hoping to be followed in return, and later unfollow.

    I would check to make sure your account hasn't been compromised. If you dont' use it, I would delete it. That was happening to me for a while (same thing -- I'd only gotten one for a specific reason, never tweeted anything) and after a month or two Twitter emailed me and said they suspected I'd been hacked.
