Beauty Tips/Secrets

I'm not great at beauty tips but this is what I got!
- I get bad acne from time to time and I use Neutrogena bar soap. (Yes I know it is not the more natural way to go but it is cheap, and natural stuff never seems to work on me, but this is amazing!)
- I have heard that applying vaseline to your eyelashes at night will make them longer and thicker. (I have never tried it, my friend does it and she has gorgeous eye lashes!)
- Hot olive oil treaments for your hair are great, they moisterize it especially if you like to color your hair. (I love doing this, it makes my hair so shiny!)
- Rinse your hair in cold water when you are showering because it gives shine and doesn't dry out your hair when it's drying from the hot water.)
- Using water that is to hot on your skin may cause, spots, dryness and roughness.
- I adore natural clay masks! They are only $7 for a whole bag which lasts like 6 months - 1 year! but don't use them daily because they may overdry your skin. do it once a week if I have time.
- Steaming your face is great!
- Omega 3 vitamins, help your hair, skin and nails (You can also use cod liver oil, which is the same thing.)
- Excercise is great for your complexion because it sweats out impuritys in your skin and circulates your blood flow.
That is all I can think of right now!

you should use rose water as a toner! it made my pores all small, and got rid of blackheads and use tea tree oil for pimples!
Good to know!! Is this available at most stores, or like health food stores, etc?0 -
I absolutely have to correct you so that others don't get misinformed. What you eat has NOTHING to do with pimples. That's a total myth!0

this stuff is AMAZING. it's fairly inexpensive and will last you a very long time. fortunately, i rarely get blemishes but as soon as i do, i use this and it clears it up instantly. worth every penny. my boyfriend even uses it!!0 -
Here is a little beauty tip. So we all know to wear sunscreen on our face, and nowadays, tons of makeup contains SPF which is great. However, if you are going somewhere for pictures, make sure you don'e use products on your face that have SPF in it, like foundation ect..because this will actually cause your face to have a whiter tint in the pics!
This is a good tip for important pics like weddings and such. Just wanted to give a heads up!0 -
I LOVE Mario Badescu products. If you fill out their questionnare,
http://www.mariobadescu.com/questionnaire.aspx
they will send generous-sized samples (not just little foil packets - I'm talking nice-sized tubs and tubes) of products best suited for your skin. So, you get to try before you buy. You also get samples of your choosing anytime you order with them.0 -
I just started using honey as a cleanser last night and already notice a difference in my skin. It's softer, brighter etc. Just good old fashioned honey you find at the grocery store.
I also drink cucumber lemon water like the kind they have at the spa. Idk if it actually does anything, but it's yummy and makes me feel refreshed.
I made the cucumber/lemon water yesterday and I loved it! Great idea. I also bought honey at the store and I'm going to try it today. Thanks for the tips!0
